Comox garbage, recycling pickup postponed

If you live in Comox, you’ll have to wait a while to get your garbage and recycling picked up.

The Town announced that today’s collection of garbage and organics has been postponed until next Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Today’s blue bin recycling pickup has been postponed until this Saturday, Jan. 18.

The town’s collection contractor, Emterra said this is due to the onset of this storm and the unpredictable weather.

You do not need an extra can/bag tag for the additional garbage pickup.

The town asked that you check the status of tomorrow’s collection on its website.
