Get your young ones ready for kindergarten

Comox Valley Schools says now is the time to get your kids ready for kindergarten.

There are many programs available and it wants to make sure you pick one that works for you and your children as registration takes place between February 11th and 21st.

SD71 will be hosting an information session at the end of the month to help educate parents on what programs could work best for them.

During the session, parents and guardians will learn about each of the kindergarten programs offered in the district and will have an opportunity to speak with educators.

To be eligible for enrollment into Kindergarten, a child must be five years of age by December 31st.

The information session will take place January 29th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Queneesh Elementary School.

To learn more about the various programs available visit the School Districts website.
