Environment Canada says strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
Wind warning in effect for:
- East Vancouver Island – Courtenay to Campbell River
An approaching front is bringing southeast winds of 70 km/h gusting to 90 to these regions.
High winds may cause damage to buildings and toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
Winds will ease late this afternoon.
