Gold medal for valley skier at World Cup

Kudos for Comox Valley skier Cassie Sharpe, capturing gold for Canada at the World Cup in Tignes France, in Ladies’ Halfpipe, notching up 93. 80 points.

Japan took second place, while the United States nailed down third place in the prestigious competition.

Its a double gold for Canada with Canadian Mike Riddle also winning gold at the World Cup in France.
