Cumberland Lake Park Campground opening postponed

The Cumberland Lake Park Campground is off-limits for the time being.

The campground’s opening has been postponed and will be re-evaluated in May.

The Cumberland Lake Wilderness Society, in consultation with the Village of Cumberland, is delaying the opening of the facility that includes campsites, the office, and main bathrooms, at Cumberland Lake Park until at least June 1.

The park operator says the decision was made to ensure the health and safety of all visitors, staff and the surrounding community.

Refunds for bookings up to May 31st will be sent automatically.

You do not need to cancel your reservation.

Meanwhile, the park itself is still open to walk-in day users, however, the main parking lot remains closed.
