Section of Fitzgerald Avenue closed tomorrow

The City of Courtenay is reminding everyone that a section of road along Fitzgerald Avenue will be closed for construction tomorrow.

Crews will be working on the road between 17th and 18th Streets from 7:00am to 4:00 pm.

During construction, access will be restricted to local traffic only and all other traffic will be detoured via side streets.

Traffic control will be on-site to direct vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists within the work area.
