Comox council approves budget

It’s that time of the year where cities and towns roll out their capital and operational budgets.

What’s the situation in the town of Comox? We caught up with Mayor Paul Ives to find out what residents can expect.

He said essentially they’re looking at 3-million dollars in capital funds and operational expenditures are projected at around 10-million dollars.

Ives gets into some of the projects the town has in the works.

He notes that council has until May to reevaluate contracts that could possibly lead to changes in the budget.
