Comox Valley SPCA staff asking for return of stolen piece of quartz

The Comox Valley BC SPCA branch is missing a piece of quartz that has a massive sentimental value.

Someone took it from the branch’s garden.

In a Facebook post, the local SPCA says that may have looked like a general rock to someone, but it was put there by a very dedicated volunteer who unfortunately passed away.

“We still think of her often, and this quartz reminds us of her and when we were lucky to have her lovely presence in our shelter,” the post continued.

“We’re hoping that the person who has it might return it. It was in our round raised bed and is about the size of a dinner plate.”

If you have information on this theft, you’re asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321.
