Courtenay bakery raising money for Child Development Association next week

Courtenay’s COBS Bread is giving back to the community.

The Driftwood Mall bakery is holding a summer fundraiser next week with all donations going to the Comox Valley Child Development Association (CVCDA).

Between July 20th and 24th, for every six-pack of hot dog or hamburger buns purchased, COBS will donate $1 to the association.

“Get your hamburger and hot dog buns all week and bake a difference to local child development,” a CVCDA release said. “COBS Bread gourmet hamburger and hotdog buns are preservative-free, extra rich, and full flavoured.”

The CVCDA is a local nonprofit organization that supports children, youth and adults with diverse abilities and their families.

Along with the upcoming fundraiser, anytime you shop at COBS Bread and mention the CVCDA, five per cent of your purchase will go back to the association.
