Comox Mayor Russ Arnott returns from medical leave

Comox’s mayor is back.

After taking a medical leave of absence on June 4th, Mayor Russ Arnott is ready to return to work.

Arnott says the last two months “have been an incredible journey through our medical system and the amazing professionals working in it.”

Council appointed Councillor Ken Grant as Acting Mayor during Arnott’s absence.

“I want to thank Acting Mayor Ken Grant and council for their support through this process,” Grant said.

“I’m glad to be back and look forward to working with the community once again.”
