Courtenay Thrifty Foods asks for help in recovering over $6,000 worth of shopping carts

Courtenay’s Thrifty Foods is hoping to recover dozens of shopping carts.

Manager Jeff Ackinclose says since the pandemic started, $6,000 worth  of carts have gone missing from the store at 17th Street and Cliff Avenue.

Ackinclose is asking for help in finding them.

He’s asking anyone that spots a Thrifty Foods shopping cart to call the store.
