Overdose prevention workshop in Cumberland Aug. 19

Here’s your opportunity to learn how to potentially save a life.

AVI Health and Community Services is partnering with the Village of Cumberland to offer a free community Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Training Workshop.

It’s happening next Wednesday, Aug. 19th at 7 p.m. 

All who take part will receive a Take Home Naloxone kit.

You can register with [email protected] or call 250-336-2291 with your first name and your contact info to attend (for COVID-19 contact tracing purposes only).

You can find out more about harm reduction and view the Naloxone Saves Lives video at the BC Centre of Disease Control’s Toward the Heart website.
