Expect Traffic delays in Comox this month 

If you’re travelling in some parts of Comox this month, expect traffic delays. 

Crews will be working on Guthrie Road between Torrence Road and Noel Avenue, at the crosswalk in front of Brooklyn Elementary School.

The work will involve upgrading the existing crosswalk with curb bulb-outs and a centre median to reduce the pedestrian crossing distance and make pedestrians more visible.

Work is scheduled to start this Thursday and continue over the next two weeks.

The road will be reduced to a single alternating lane during that time.
