Courtenay’s Rotary Water Park set to close for the season on Sept. 7th

Be sure to get some final splashes at the Rotary Water Park at Lewis Park in Courtenay this week.

The city says it’s set to close for the summer season on September 7th.

For its final week, the water park will be operating rain or shine, from 10:00am to 7:00pm daily. 

Free and open to everyone, it features water sprayers, a water dome, water arch, and mushroom waterfall.

If you’re using the water park, remember to:

  • wash your hands regularly
  • maintain a two-metre distance from others
  • avoid overcrowding

Water park equipment will not be cleaned or disinfected, and public washrooms will be open during operating hours.
