The Comox Valley RCMP is on the lookout for a possible fire bug.
On Sept. 4th, what police are describing as two suspicious fires were reported to the police.
Just after 9:30 that night, officers were called to the 700-block of Fitzgerald Ave., after a report that someone had lit garbage on fire.
Later, at around 11:00pm, police went to a dumpster fire in the alley between Fitzgerald Avenue and Cumberland Road.
RCMP Const. Monika Terragni says both fires caused minimal damage; however, but had the potential to get out of control and catch surrounding buildings on fire.
