Comox Valley woman facing charges after vehicle smashes into police cruiser

A Comox Valley woman is facing several charges after an attempted police stop ended with a car crashing into a ditch.

It happened on Sept. 1 when a Comox Valley RCMP officer was in Royston looking for a reported stolen vehicle.

The officer spotted it and tried to make a traffic stop. That’s when the suspect drove around the police vehicle and took off.
