Still no sign of Julia Strobach despite massive valley RCMP search

Despite scores of RCMP members in the Comox Valley this week on the hunt for any clues on the disappearance of Julia Strobach, there is still no sign of the missing woman, last seen in Courtenay on Halloween night–2013.

RCMP Corporal Darren Lagen says Strobach was 27 when she vanished, adding police scoured two key areas this week.

Corporal Lagen says the Headquarters Road area rural search, proved more challenging than initially thought.

Police say Strobach was last seen in the one-thousand block of Braidwood Road in Courtenay.

Lagen says Strobach, who was 27 when she disappeared, was known to take off for periods at a time, but definitely NOT for this long.

RCMP have issued a province wide appeal for any information on the whereabouts of Julia Strobach.

Please call any RCMP detachment, or Crimestoppers if you have any information on this case.
