Comox Valley Schools hosting trustee by-election info session

One spot is available for a new school trustee at SD71.

The district’s parent advisory council is hosting an info night to see which candidate you think fits the bill the best.

The online Zoom meeting will take place on November 30th at 6:30 p.m.

You can submit your questions to the candidates before Friday by sending them via email to [email protected].

If you would like to watch the forum, or dial in via phone, you have to send an email to the district asking for the invitation link.

Six people are looking to fill the spot including Randi Baldwin, Kandice Bielert, Cristi May, Monica Parkin, Terence Purden and Robert Thompson.

The position opened up when trustee and board chair Ian Hargreaves stepped down in September.
