NEWS: The RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 28-year-old woman reported missing on January 3rd has been located, and she is safe and sound.

The Comox Valley RCMP is hoping the public can help locate a missing woman.

Police say on January 3rd, 28-year-old Chelsea Poirier was reported missing.

She was last seen in Courtenay on December 22nd and was wearing black outdoor pants, a dark coloured jacket, a light coloured rain jacket, and a black toque with a red/white square logo on the back. 

Chelsea was carrying a large hiking backpack and an umbrella.

She is approximately 4’10 and 100lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
