Multiple cougar sightings reported in the Comox Valley 

Multiple cougar sightings are being reported in the Comox Valley.

According to social media posts, a cougar sighting was reported the last two evenings on Arden Road Between Tweed Road and Lake Trail Roads.

Conservation officers have been out in the area and signs are being posted in the neighbourhood.

With the recent sightings, it’s important to remember some important cougar safety tips like avoid walking alone at night, making lots of noise if you are out past daylight, and keeping your pet on a leash.
