CORRECTION: Re: Comox Valley School District COVID-19 exposures

We have a correction to the Comox Valley School District story we shared with you yesterday. 

In that story, we told you that eight district staff members had tested positive for COVID-19. That was not the correct information provided to us. 

Eight members of the school communities have tested positive. Six from G.P. Vanier, and one each from Glacier View and Queneesh. 

The district confirms that those who tested positive did not contract the virus within the school sites. As a precaution, 10 staff and 98 students are self-isolating. 

We apologize for any concern our error may have caused.
