Stage 3 Water Restrictions on the way for the Comox Valley

Even though we are getting plenty of rain, the Comox Valley will be moving to stage 3 water restrictions.

Starting March 15th, the restrictions will be in effect for everyone who uses the Comox Valley water system while a water transmission pipe is repaired.

It will last for about a week, with restrictions set to end on March 21st.

During Stage 3 water restrictions, residential lawn and garden watering with a sprinkler will not be allowed.

Residents are also prohibited from pressure washing driveways and boulevards; filling a swimming pool, hot tub or garden pond; or washing a vehicle or boat other than in a commercial car wash or car dealership.

Full guidelines can be found on the Comox Valley Regional District’s website
