As work continues on the Kus-Kus-Sum restoration project, you’ll be seeing some delays over the next week.
Project Watershed will be working on a saltmarsh restoration project along Comox Road, 500 meters north of the Rotary Viewing Stand, starting Thursday.
The work is expected to last about a week and the group is asking that you use a little extra care when driving that stretch of road as flaggers and trucks will be in and around the area.
Project Watershed says project will help rebuild a saltmarsh platform lost due to coastal erosion, more frequent and intense storms, and grazing pressure from an increasing population of resident Canada Geese.
