Courtenay opening Rotary Water Park in time for May long weekend 

Starting this weekend, the Rotary Water Park in Courtenay will be open for everyone to enjoy.

The park is set to open this Saturday. 

Once it does, it will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm daily throughout the summer.

The city is encouraging everyone to follow some safety guidelines if they plan to use the water park such as:

  • Sick children should not enter the spray park
  • A physical distance of 2 metres between parents and guardians should be maintained
  • Children should clean their hands before and after using the spray park
  • Avoid overcrowding

The city is also reminding everyone that spray park equipment is not being cleaned or disinfected.
