Valley Mounties gear up for National Police Week

This is National Police Week, with RCMP and police agencies coast to coast raising awareness on various policing issues, and it also has top police officials reaching out to, and connecting with their communities.

We spoke to Comox Valley RCMP Constable Don Sinclair who says National Police Week goes back quite a ways, and is all about emphasizing the important role police services play in our daily lives.

Constable Don Sinclair says various events are on the go this week for National Police Week, however local Mounties are being tight lipped on exactly what is going down, only to say RCMP Inspector Tim Walton will be front and centre touching base with local residents.

Our Goat morning guy Tymo will have daily updates on what is on the go for National Police Week in the Comox Valley.
