Council supports an outdoor patio at Gladstone Brewery

Now and then everyone likes to sit out on the patio and enjoy a cold beverage. Soon enough, you’ll be able to do that at Gladstone Brewery.

Courtenay council has unanimously supported a bid from Gladstone to have an outdoor patio built at the brewery. Courtenay Mayor Larry Jangula says plans are moving forward on this after hearing from the Liquor Control Board, neighbors and other businesses in the area.

In addition to support from Council, the Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement District has expressed support for the patio at Gladstone Brewery.
