Nurse Jenny off to Nepal!

Comox Valley Nurse Jenny, also known as Jen Mac, is off to Nepal on Friday with the Canadian Medical Assistance Teams for medical disaster relief.

A fundraiser and silent auction will be held at the Prime Chophouse and Wine Bar on Wednesday night to raise funds for various travel expenses and the CMAT team.

Organizers say this is a great opportunity to both support disaster relief and to get out with family and friends.

The event starts at 5 p.m. and goes until 11 p.m., with the auction ending at 8 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to come out and help Nurse Jenny, in her efforts to help the people of Nepal, hammered by several large earthquakes.
