Looking for a place to place to beat the heat?
There are plenty to choose from in the Comox Valley.
A heat warning is in effect and Environment Canada is advising daytime highs will be near 30 C, combined with overnight lows in the mid to upper teens today through Saturday night.
The Comox Valley Regional District and its municipal partners says if you don’t have adequate shelter, or just want to cool off, to consider these options:

People are encouraged to drink plenty of water, even before feeling thirsty and to stay in cool places.
