Road marking work underway in Comox

Heads up if you’re driving around Comox this week, especially at night.

Crews will be doing road line marking at various locations; work will include:

  • stop bars,
  • crosswalks,
  • centre lines,
  • bike lane lines, and
  • fog lines.

It’s scheduled to begin today (Aug. 10th) and will continue for the rest of this week, and will likely be happening during the evening and overnight hours to minimize traffic disruptions.

To do the work, the contractors will need to occupy the roadways.

Traffic control workers will be guiding traffic and pedestrians through the work zones.

Drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution and obey traffic control personnel.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
