Canada Day scorcher in the books

Rave reviews for Canada Day festivities in Courtenay, with huge crowds showing up for a full slate of family friendly activities. Goat News spoke with Courtenay Mayor Larry Jangula in Lewis Park.

Jangula says the big Canada Day Parade went off without a hitch.

Meanwhile former Courtenay Mayor Ron Webber says preparations are already into high gear to celebrate the 100th birthday of the City of Courtenay next year.

Goat News also made the rounds in Lewis Park getting your thoughts on all the festivities.

By the way, Canada turned 147 on Tuesday.
