Valley RCMP Traffic Section out in full force

Comox Valley RCMP kicked off the long weekend in a very big way, targeting high risk drivers on the Inland Island Highway at Cook Creek Road.

Goat News spoke with RCMP Constable Don Sinclair, who says police were kept busy doling out the tickets, some involving excessive speeds.

Constable Don Sinclair says more of these major police enforcement campaigns will be held throughout the summer months, including some with a focus on distracted driving.
