The City of Courtenay is reminding residents that proof of vaccination will be required to enter Courtenay Recreation facilities starting Monday.
People in British Columbia will need to show that they have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine to attend certain events and social and recreational settings. Proof of full vaccination will be enforced beginning Oct. 24.
The City of Courtenay is recommending that people visit their website for updates before going to Courtenay Recreation facilities.
B.C. vaccine cards can be acquired online, at a Service BC Centre, or by calling 1-833-838-2323.
