Town of Comox asking community about youth recreation improvements

The Town of Comox is asking the community how youth outdoor recreation can be improved.

Small and medium sized focus groups will be held in October.

One recreation survey will be conducted for the entire town, and another will be just for the youth.

“It is important for the Town of Comox to carefully address and plan for recreational needs that serve youth,” said Comox Mayor Russ Arnott. “We know that youth in particular need recreation options within walking or cycling distance from where they live. We’re particularly interested in hearing from youth who don’t participate in traditional local sport models.”

The survey and focus group schedule will be posted on the Town of Comox website
