Flair Airlines adds routes to Comox

Flair Airlines will soon be expanding its service to Comox.

The carrier is adding three weekly non-stop flights from Calgary and Edmonton to Comox starting March 29, 2022.

Comox was included in 14 new routes announced by Flair Tuesday.

More information about the new routes can be found here.

“We’re very excited that Flair Air has chosen Comox as the gateway to central Vancouver Island,” said Mike Atkins, CEO of the Comox Valley Airport Commission. “As air travel continues to rebound, Flair’s service to Calgary and Edmonton provide incredible low-cost options to visitors, businesses and friends and family alike. We can’t wait to share the beauty of Vancouver Island with Flair’s passengers.”

Flair is also deploying four new Boeing Max 737 aircraft in April and May of next year.

This will create 150 new jobs for pilots, operational support staff, and flight attendants.
