One injured in Nanoose helicopter crash

The Nanaimo RCMP is currently on site of a helicopter crash that occurred at around 12:30 pm today (Thursday, Nov. 4). The crash site is in a forested area near Nanoose Bay.

BC Paramedics are in the process of transporting one adult man to hospital with unknown injuries. The injured person was the sole occupant in the helicopter.

When further information is known, it will be released.
