Comox Valley Airport teams up with Comox Valley Arts for new exhibit

The Comox Valley Airport has teamed up with Comox Valley Arts to present a new art exhibit.

The exhibit features pieces by artists within the airport’s extensive mid to northern island catchment.

The theme of the show is “renewal” and it can be viewed at the terminal or on the airport’s website or the Comox Valley Arts’ online gallery.

“We always look forward to the arrival of new works and are very fortunate to have such a wealth of talent to display,” said Comox Valley Airports CEO Mike Atkins. “The renewal theme really resonates with us, as our industry emerges from these challenging times. It is wonderful to commemorate the return to normalcy with a celebratory display for both departing and arriving passengers to enjoy.”

People will need to show that they have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine to see the in-person show.

The exhibit will be at the terminal until April 17, 2022.
