Comox Valley Regional District dog licenses now available for 2022

Dog licenses for 2022 are now available in the Comox Valley.

The 2022 licenses are valid from Jan. 1st to Dec. 31.

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) requires dogs over six months old to be licenced annually.

Those in Comox, Courtenay, and Cumberland can obtain dog licences at their municipal offices.

The price to licence a dog that is not spayed or neutered is $25 and the cost is $5 for spayed or neutered dogs.

“Dog licences help ensure that your lost pet quickly finds its way back home,” said Amanda Yasinski, manager of bylaw compliance with the CVRD.
