Firefighters improve their skills thanks to Comox Fire course

Firefighters from around the Island and the province had their skills put to the test this weekend. The Comox Fire Department offered up some training.

Comox Fire Chief Gord Schreiner says the weekend included their famous “START” training course.

Schreiner adds this isn’t the only course offered up at the Comox Fire training centre.

The department offers up courses every few weekends. If you’d like to get in touch with the Comox Fire Department, to inquire about the course or to get your fire alarm at home checked, call them at (250) 339-2432.
