Comox Valley RCMP searching for local man last seen in Mill Bay

Comox Valley RCMP are looking to locate a 22-year-old Valley man after he didn’t show up for work.

Matthew Stanfield was reported missing on Feb. 23, and hasn’t been in contact with friends or family since. Police say they believe he was in Mill Bay on the morning of Feb. 24.

They say he is likely driving his blue 2014 Dodge Ram truck with licence plate number RJ8 795. Stanfield is described as being over six feet tall, 325 pounds with brown/red hair and brown eyes.

His family is very concerned as his behaviour is very out of character.

“This is out of character for Matthew and his family is worried,” said Cst. Monika Terragni, media relations officer, Comox Valley RCMP.

Police ask if Stanfield is seen or his whereabouts are known to call Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.
