RCMP seeking surveillance footage from arson in Courtenay

Comox Valley RCMP are asking the public for surveillance footage of an arson on Tuesday.

Police were contacted about the fire on the 2700 block of Piercy Avenue in Courtenay at around 10:24 p.m.

RCMP say a truck and trailer were damaged from the fire.

“It would be very helpful to investigators if local residents could check their surveillance cameras,” said Comox Valley RCMP Cst. Monika Terragni in a news release. “We are looking for footage on Piercy Avenue between 17th Street and 26th Street after 9:30 p.m.”

Anyone with relevant information or footage is asked to call Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.
