The Comox Valley RCMP have responded to a few recent reports of items being stolen from vehicles.
Now Constable Don Sinclair has a few words of advice for car owners.
He said local mounties recently responded to a case where someone pried open a car door and tried to steal the vehicle itself. Luckily, they were not able to get it started.
If you see any suspicious activity in your area, contact the local RCMP at (250) 338-1321 and make sure to keep your car secured when it’s unoccupied.
