Minor damage in a small blaze in downtown Courtenay this afternoon.
That from Deputy Fire Chief Kurt MacDonald who says crews were on scene very quickly after the call came in from a local fitness centre.
That blaze broke out in the area of England Avenue and Tenth Street. There were no injuries.
