The Vancouver Island and Coast Conservation Society is encouraging the province to work with regional and municipal governments on water conservation.

Vancouver Island is experiencing drought conditions and the province is urging people to conserve water.

Gourlay says BC’s new Water Sustainability Act could create new measures to protect regional water supplies, but there’s no time to wait.
