Relay for Life raises massive funds

The 2015 Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life recently took place at the GP Vanier track in Courtenay.

Thousands showed up to honour those who have fallen to cancer, and to support people battling the disease and people who have beaten it.

One of the event’s organizers, Tracy Berg, says it was a great success.

Students from Mark Isfeld raised some strong numbers, pulling in over $31,000.

You can still donate to the fight against cancer through the Canadian Cancer Society’s website.
