A large barn has gone up in flames in the 58-hundred block of Headquarters Road in Courtenay late this afternoon. Courtenay Fire Department crews are on scene, and Goat News spoke with Deputy Chief Kurt McDonald.
McDonald says everybody in the barn managed to get out safely.
McDonald says Oyster River Fire crews teamed up with Courtenay Fire crews in battling the blaze.
The investigation into the cause continues on scene.
