Conservation officers are searching for a black bear spotted numerous times in recent days in the area of the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre. Residents are being warned to be extremely cautious in the area. Conservation officials are in the area responding to the sightings.
Residents on Tamarack Drive say the mother bear and two cubs have been spotted several times and at one point the bear climbed up a tree.
