Vancouver Island Musicfest appeals for volunteers

This is crunch time for organizers of the 2015 edition of Vancouver Island Musicfest, as they scramble behind the scenes, in preparing to stage one of the largest music festivals on Vancouver Island this summer.

Event spokesperson Susan Wood has this appeal for more volunteers.

Wood says every year 1300 volunteers step up to the plate and volunteer for Vancouver Island Musicfest, this year set for for July 10th, to the 12th.

She says there has been an overwhelming response to ticket sales this year.

You can check out the Vancouver Island Musicfest website for more details.
