Cumberland crews clear snow ahead of new project construction

With the construction of a new project beginning on January 3rd 2023 in Cumberland, crews will start prepping for the project next week.

The new project will be the creation of a new water main on Maryport Avenue from Second to Third Street, where on December 29th and 30th crews will be clearing snow from the area.

The Village of Cumberland requests people to remove personal property from the road, and not to park on the block during this time.

Once the construction starts in the new year, it’s anticipated that it will take 2 weeks to be fully complete.
