A training exercise at 19 Wing Comox will increase activity around the perimeter of the base.
The security training exercise will run for the day, and 19 Wing Comox Public Affairs says members will be carrying training weapons during the activities.
They add any interactions with off-base agencies will be simulated.
“Residents of the Comox Valley are reminded that these activities are routine military training and that there is no need to report them to 19 Wing Comox or to local emergency services,” said 19 Wing in a statement.
