Just about time for the new top cop in the Comox Valley to take the reigns of the local detachment. RCMP Constable Don Sinclair explains.
Constable Sinclair says Inspector Walton has clearly bought into the valley’s policing model, targeting a relatively small number of offenders carrying out the vast majority of crimes throughout the community.
Walton officially assumes command of valley RCMP operations next Monday, July 14.
